Mullett Arena

Building Information

Mullett Arena accommodates a wide range of community, entertainment and athletic events. Working with industry design and construction experts, the arena can be transformed for concerts, lectures, large-scale meetings and a variety of Sun Devil athletic events.

The arena addresses the needs of the NCAA Division I Sun Devil men’s ice hockey program. The 5,000-seat, state-of-the-art venue includes two NHL regulation-size ice sheets, 20 luxury suites, a large club lounge and event-level premium club seats. On the 300-level, a social deck runs the length of the east side of the venue, providing an aerial view of the arena where fans can interact while still experiencing sightlines to the competition.

The second ice surface, known as the Mountain America Credit Union Iceplex, provides the community with a practice and competition location for regional youth and adult hockey clubs, as well as a practice ice sheet for the Sun Devil hockey team.

Mullett Arena hosted Arizona Coyotes homes games during the 2022-23 and 2023-24 NHL seasons. Improvements were made, including constructing coaches' rooms, equipment rooms, technology and other aspects of the new ASU arena according to NHL standards. The construction of a two-story, approximately 15,000-square-foot annex adjacent the arena accommodates NHL-quality home and away team dressing rooms, training areas, equipment rooms, nutrition stations, coaches' work room, team storage and a fitness room.
