Mullett Arena

Construction webcam

Mullett Arena is designed to accommodate a wide range of community, entertainment and intercollegiate athletics. Working with industry design and construction experts, the arena can be transformed for concerts, lectures, large-scale meetings and a variety of Sun Devil athletic events.

The arena will address the needs of the NCAA Division I Sun Devil men’s ice hockey program, as well as include a second sheet of ice. The second ice surface, known as the Mountain America Credit Union Iceplex, will provide the community with a practice and competition location for regional youth and adult hockey clubs, as well as a practice ice sheet for the Sun Devil hockey team.

MPA to host NHL's Arizona Coyotes

Mullett Arena will host Arizona Coyotes's homes games for the 2022, 2023 and 2024 NHL seasons. The Coyotes need a temporary home ice to use while their proposed new arena and entertainment district advance through the development process.

Other improvements will be made, at the Coyotes' expense, including constructing coaches' rooms, equipment rooms, technology and other aspects of the new ASU arena according to NHL standards. The construction of a two-story, approximately 15,000-square-foot annex adjacent the arena will accommodate NHL-quality home and away team dressing rooms, training areas, equipment rooms, nutrition stations, coaches' work room, team storage and a fitness room.
