Sun Devil Beach Volleyball Facility

The Sun Devil Beach Volleyball Facility brings the Sand Devils onto campus for training and competitions.

The facility provides four courts to host NCAA beach volleyball play and university and community events.

The facility includes natural grass with flexible seating options for spectators and teams, a cooled water drinking fountain and a beach shower to keep things cool during hot days. Coaches also control cooling the sand with a switch that will run irrigation for each court.

A new beach volleyball-specific scoreboard keeps players and spectators up-to-date on all the action.

The existing Musco Sports poles provide 80 footcandles of illumination on all four courts to accommodate night competitions and broadcasting. The facility is designed to accept broadcasting infrastructure at a future date.
