Receiving packages at ASU
Getting your mail and packages on campus is easy when you use your assigned ASU shipping address. Follow these steps to help ensure your items arrive quickly and accurately.
How to address your shipment
- Use your full name as it appears in your ASU records. Using a nickname or initials may delay delivery or prevent your package from being matched to your account.
- Include your Student Delivery Code. Your SDC is unique to you and helps route mail and packages to the correct Student Delivery Services location. It is not a physical mailbox, and you will not receive a mailbox key. You can find your SDC in My ASU under Campus Services in the On-campus living section.
- Note: Your SDC is unique to you and is not your residence hall room number. Each student, including roommates, has a different SDC. Always use the SDC assigned to you in My ASU when shipping items to campus to help avoid delivery delays. Do not share your SDC or allow other students to use it.
- Use your complete ASU shipping address, found in My ASU under Campus Services. It is listed as your Shipping Address under On-campus Living. Your shipping address is different from both your physical residence hall address and the location where you pick up your mail and packages.
- Ask family and friends to use your complete ASU shipping address, including your Student Delivery Code. Missing or incorrect address information may delay delivery or result in the item being returned.
On-demand and medication deliveries
Do not use your Student Delivery Services shipping address for food or other on-demand deliveries. Instead, coordinate directly with your delivery driver and meet them at a pinned location in the delivery service's app to receive your order.
If shipping medications that require temperature-controlled storage, email Student Delivery Services before your shipment arrives so we can help ensure it is handled appropriately.
Before move-in
Shipping before arriving on campus
Use only the shipping address listed in My ASU, including your full name and Student Delivery Code. Do not add your residence hall name or room number.
What to bring for pickup
Before picking up your packages, make sure you have the following:
- Pickup code to retrieve packages from Luxer One lockers. You will receive your code via your ASU email from [email protected]. If you do not see it, check your spam or junk folder. For faster pickup, download the Luxer One app and enable text or app notifications for additional delivery updates.
- ASU ID to verify your identity.
- Tracking number to help staff locate your package.
Transporting large packages
Carts are available for checkout at Student Delivery Services locations to help transport large packages to your residence hall.
For family and friends
