Alameda Warehouse

The Alameda Building in Tempe underwent renovations to construct a new 50,000 square-foot high-bay warehouse using tilt-up concrete wall slab construction. Improvements included 17,000 square feet in the existing building.

The new facility which is currently tracking to achieve LEED Silver certification will consolidate and optimize operations for Materials Services, Central Receiving, Surplus Operations, Mail Services, Managed Storage and Moving Services.

The project incorporated a geocellular sustainable stormwater management system for rain-water storage and infiltration. The university sustainability goals were further supported through installation of 12 electric vehicle chargers, which will serve a future electric-vehicle fleet.
