Summer 2025 internship application now open
ASU Supply Chain Management is now accepting applications for summer 2025. We are looking for highly motivated students who are currently enrolled in the ASU Supply Chain Management undergraduate program or Data Analytics program and are passionate about the industry. Interested students must submit their résumé and cover letter to apply. The application closes March 18, 2025.
We play a crucial role in advancing university business through the optimization of various supply chain functions.
The Supply Chain Internship Program is designed to provide interns with the following:
- Contribute to ASU's success: Your work directly impacts all ASU department operations. Supply Chain provides an opportunity to support the success of research and ASU's mission and charter, giving you a sense of accomplishment and ownership in the world of supply chain logistics.
- Networking: Build connections with ASU leadership, fellow interns, and our award-winning team for future career opportunities. ASU Supply Chain has earned the Achievement of Excellence in Procurement Award 16 years in a row.
- Professional development: Receive mentorship, development, and training. Develop knowledge in supply chain systems and tools. Attend workshops, participate in training sessions, and receive mentorship to expand your professional skills, including how to effectively communicate in one-on-one and group settings.
- Real-world experience: Work on meaningful projects to enhance your supply chain management skills and knowledge. Plus, receive hands-on experience in warehouse operations to better understand how to improve processes.
Internship opportunities
Our internships cover the entire supply chain ecosystem, including:
- Construction: Sourcing, procurement, and contracting for design, construction and renovation services.
Inventory: Inventory management for maintenance, repair and operations, emergency inventory, unit planning, forecasting and analysis.
- Procurement: Policy and process management, purchase order issuance and relationship building.
- Procurement operations: Including P-Card and purchase order management.
- Sourcing: Formal solicitations, spend analysis and informal sourcing.
- Strategic sourcing: Across all spend categories such as construction, scientific equipment, software and IT, facilities, professional services, etc.
- Supply Chain operations: Materials, central receiving, logistics and warehouse management.
- Supply Chain systems and tools: To support e-sourcing, catalog purchases, logistics and asset management.
- Systems: Configuration, customer service, integrations and maintenance of procurement and warehouse systems.
