Architecture and design

Arizona State University's Office of the University Architect guides the planning, design and stewardship of the university's built environment. The office helps shape campus spaces that support ASU's academic mission while advancing long-term planning, sustainability and operational excellence.

OUA leads the strategic planning and design of campus development projects, ensuring university facilities support current and future academic, research and operational needs. The office oversees campus master planning, space planning, land use and landscape design to create cohesive, functional and welcoming campus environments.

The office provides architectural leadership for new construction, renovations and major campus improvements. OUA establishes and maintains design standards that promote quality, consistency and a distinctive campus identity across the university.
