Grounds Services

Grounds Services strives to maintain and service an aesthetically pleasing environment that reflects desert beauty and inspiration and is safe for all of those who attend, live, work and visit our campuses. The Tempe campus participates on a daily basis in Arizona State University’s Strategic Plan for Sustainability Practices and Operations.

As an industry leader, ASU employs new and innovative horticulture techniques with regard to sustainability principles and practices facilitating and enhancing our ecologically focused urban horticulture.

Polytechnic campus

Campus grounds are maintained through contracted services administered by Facilities Management.

Tempe campus

For general inquiries regarding ongoing work or cost estimates, please contact Facilities Management, Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 480-965-3633.

West Valley campus

The Grounds Services team is responsible to the campus community for a beautifully groomed and safe environment consisting of desert plants, trees and shrubbery, grass, and flower beds on 300 acres, of which approximately 80 acres are cultivated. 

If you notice broken tree branches, water irrigation leaks, bees or wasps, please email or call 480-965-3633. All other Grounds activities are performed on a routine basis.

Event scheduling and requests for use of the soccer, racquetball, volleyball, and basketball courts and the multi-purpose fields and courtyards should be made by email.
