Welcome to the ASU University Club

University Club

The University Club is in the historic building originally known as the Science Hall on Arizona State University’s Tempe campus. Membership is open to ASU alums, faculty, staff, retirees and prominent community and corporate members.

A perfect choice for formal and informal occasions, the University Club provides a quiet place for a morning coffee, lunch at the Bistro or a venue for your next event.

University Club members can access exclusive events, dining options, room rentals and more. The University Club is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Bistro service is available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Constructed in 1908 as a part of the Tempe Normal School, the University Club is the second oldest building on campus. Originally named Science Hall, the building was the second structure in the original “Quad” situated with Old Main around a central fountain feature. The building sits in what is now designated as the “Historic District” of the university.

In 1949, the Science Hall experienced a major remodel and changed to a fine arts facility named the Fine Arts Annex. In 1985, ASU made the building home to the University Club.
