The Arizona Biomedical Collaborative Building (ABC1) was a collaborative effort between Arizona State University and University of Arizona and was the first building planned for the Downtown Bio-medical Campus. The campus was developed by the city of Phoenix, the Arizona Board of Regents and the two state universities. ABC 1 is shared by ASU’s Department of Biomedical Informatics, part of the School of Computing and Informatics in the Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering, and the new U of A Department of Basic Medical Sciences.
