The Arizona Biomedical Collaborative Building (ABC1) was a collaborative effort between Arizona State University and University of Arizona and was the first building planned for the Downtown Biomedical Campus. The campus was developed by the city of Phoenix, the Arizona Board of Regents and the two state universities. ABC 1 is shared by ASU’s Department of Biomedical Informatics, part of the School of Computing and Informatics in the Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering, and the new U of A Department of Basic Medical Sciences.
