Investigations

University Audit responsibility

University Audit and Advisory Services has a fact-finding role in investigations related to the misuse of university assets. These responsibilities are described in university policy ACD-123, Misuse of University Assets.

Reporting Suspected Misuse of University Assets

We encourage members of the university community — students, faculty and staff — that have concerns about improper activities that place university assets at risk to discuss their concerns with their supervisors, managers or department heads.

We understand that some individuals would prefer an alternative method of reporting such concerns that allow for anonymity. Therefore, concerns about potential fraud, waste, misuse of university assets and compliance with university policies and procedures can be reported anonymously 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, through the ASU Hotline at 877-786-3385.

Request an audit

The audit Plan anticipates the request for Internal Audit resources for management consulting engagements. Management requests will be evaluated based on the engagement’s potential to improve the management of risks, add value and improve the organization’s operations.

To request an internal audit or management consulting engagement, contact Lisa Grace, executive director, University Audit and Assurance Services.
