Open enrollment is your opportunity to change your benefits coverage, enroll, or continue a flexible spending account or review and designate life insurance beneficiaries.
Please ensure your personal, emergency contact, and beneficiary information are current before making any benefit changes. Review the benefits management guide for instructions for reviewing your current benefits.
What's new for 2026?
ASU is committed to providing faculty and staff with comprehensive benefits packages at competitive rates that enhance overall total compensation and support employee well-being. While employee medical premiums will remain the same, there are some important changes coming for the 2026 plan year.
Changes for 2026 include:
- New PPO medical plan to replace Triple Choice
- New contribution limits for health care accounts
- New carriers for health savings accounts, disability insurance and life insurance plans
- Increased vision plan premium
- Decreased UNUM short-term disability premium

Virtual Benefits Expo
The Office of Human Resources is hosting a series of virtual information sessions Oct. 21–Nov. 5, 2025, to help ASU employees understand their benefit options. Representatives from the Arizona Department of Administration and participating providers will cover key topics, including medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, disability and life insurance plans.
