ASU celebrates Earth Day Every Day with flower plantings

Volunteers plant flowers in a garden bed in front of Old Main at Arizona State University's Tempe campus.

Arizona State University leaders and staff joined Facilities Development and Management’s Grounds Services to plant seasonal flowers across the Tempe campus in celebration of Earth Day Every Day in April 2026.

Volunteers installed more than 250 summer-ready blooms during three hands-on experiences at Old Main and along Tyler Mall near McAllister Avenue.

The annual effort brings together staff and groundskeeping professionals to enhance campus spaces, provide an opportunity to learn about landscape maintenance, and foster connections across departments.
