Youth activity incident reporting
In addition to the duty to report abuse and neglect, all individuals involved in youth activities are required to immediately report any incident affecting a minor participant's safety, welfare or well-being.
This includes, but is not limited to, significant accidental injuries, illnesses, alleged policy violations, exploitation, mistreatment, staff misconduct or any other event that may compromise a minor’s safety.
Incidents must be immediately reported to the activity manager. The activity manager must report the incident to the Youth Protection Program Office.
