Visitor Conduct Expectations

Students, faculty, staff, alumni and visitors are subject to the Arizona Board of Regents Code of Conduct while on university property or participating in university activities.

The Code of Conduct prohibits the following:

  • Controlled substances and illegal drugs
  • Disruptive behavior, including behavior that interferes with the ability of others to participate
  • Failing to follow the direction of university officials
  • Smoking
  • Unauthorized presence in an area not open to that individual or for that purpose
  • Violating federal, state or local law, or ABOR or university policy
  • Violent or threatening behavior
  • Weapons of any kind

Failure to follow the Code of Conduct may result in being removed from the property or activity and being prohibited from returning, in addition to any criminal or civil penalties.

Students are also subject to the Student Code of Conduct, and faculty and staff are subject to policies governing employee conduct, which may result in disciplinary or other corrective action.
