The ASU Police Department has received multiple reports of thefts of personal mobility devices, including bicycles, e-bikes and e-scooters, throughout the Tempe campus from July 2 to Aug. 21, 2026.
ASU Police urge the university community, regardless of campus, to take necessary actions to secure personal property, such as e-scooters, bicycles and skateboards. High-quality U-locks are recommended for e-scooters and bicycles. Personal mobility devices should be parked in areas designated for bicycles, scooters and skateboards.
