Presentations

These condensed versions of the original trainings provide quick tips for all Sun Devils.

A review of these tips does not fulfill your position’s required training. Visit the training page to view all training courses provided by ASU EHS.

Minors, visitors and volunteers

Visitors and volunteers are welcome to participate in the training offered by EHS. In some cases, ASU sponsors may require it. Non-employee ASU affiliations, including volunteers and visitors, must complete additional steps to obtain sub-affiliate status. Once granted access, you may visit the appropriate training tab to self-enroll.

Students will need to follow the guidance for obtaining access to Workday Learning.

Please submit a ServiceNow ticket if you cannot access the desired training system.

Registration

Laboratories are required to be registered on an annual basis following these instructions. The Principal Investigator, PI, or their designee completes the registration process. If you are a new or existing Principal Investigator, the method for registering your lab spaces will be the same. Please log in to CEMS with your ASURITE and password.

Minors

Students under 18 years of age who plan to spend time in ASU labs are required to provide the university with information regarding their activities and attend specific safety training courses. To protect minors from potential hazards in laboratories or areas where hazardous processes occur, they must follow the approval process before entering the laboratory. Please refer to the visitor and volunteer webpage for instructions.
