ASU shuttles

Tempe-West Valley Express

The Tempe-West Express provides service between the Tempe and West Valley campuses. 

Shuttle commuters should plan ahead to allow for sufficient time when traveling on the intercampus shuttles. Multiple shuttles may be in service at peak times, but exact times are not guaranteed due to potential traffic delays. Riders can use the shuttle tracker for live updates on where shuttles travel.

Weekday schedules depart approximately every 60 minutes.

  • 6:50 a.m.–5:50 p.m.

There is no weekend service. Shuttles do not operate on university-observed holidays

Your ASU ID card is your ticket to ride the intercampus shuttles. All shuttles provide wheelchair accessibility and accommodate up to five bicycles. Skateboards, scooters and other non-pedestrian devices are prohibited in the cabin. Riders can use the bike racks or place their skateboards and scooters under the shuttle for safe storage.

Weekday 

Weekday shuttles operate on school days through university commencement when class is only in session during the fall and spring semesters

About the route

  • Departs approximately every hour. 
  • It takes roughly 50 minutes of travel time between the Tempe and West Valley campuses. 

Stops and service

Service runs Monday through Friday from the first departure at 6:50 a.m. to the last stop at 5:50 p.m. 

University Way North

  • Located on the West Valley campus.
  • Service is from 6:50 a.m. to 4:50 p.m.

Forest Avenue and Lemon Street 

  • Located on the Tempe campus.
  • Service is from 6:50 a.m. to 4:50 p.m. 

Weekend 

The Tempe-West Express shuttle does not operate on weekends. 

Class break and Summer 

The Tempe-West Express shuttle does not operate during class breaks or in the summer.
