At approximately 3:00 a.m. on September 3, 2023, the ASU Police Department a report of an aggravated assault at 711 E Lemon Street. A student (non-resident) was walking eastbound through the area when they were attacked from behind by unknown subjects and struck in the head with a blunt object.
The student was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The suspects have not been identified or located at this time.
