Attempted Motor Vehicle Thefts | 02-09-2025

On February 9, 2025, the ASU Police Department received two reports of attempted motor vehicle thefts that occurred on February 8th evening at the Rural Road Parking Structure, 1100 S. Rural Road Tempe. The first vehicle was a 2010 Kia Forte, and the second vehicle was a 2020 Kia Sportage.

ASU PD would like to remind all vehicle owners to use multiple layers of theft prevention to include vehicle locks, vehicle immobilizers, steering wheel locks, and/or brake locks.
