ASU offers various alternative transportation options to support individual and departmental needs.
Uber and Waymo rideshare services
Arizona State University provides Uber and Waymo rideshare options for the ASU community. Schools and departments can use Uber and Waymo for these services:
- Commuting solutions.
- Event transportation.
- On- and off-campus student mobility programs.
- Patient or healthcare transportation for research support.
- Visitor transportation.
Uber and Waymo rides are not discounted or complimentary.
Submit an inquiry for information or to enroll in an Uber or Waymo program.
How can you ride safely with Uber and Waymo?
- Ask the driver to verify who they are picking up.
- Check the license plate number, driver information and make and model of your ride.
- Follow the vehicle on GPS via the Uber and Waymo apps.
- Share your location within the Uber and Waymo apps with a friend or family member.

Bus charters

- Bus charters arrangements, such as loading zones and staging locations, must be coordinated with Parking and Transportation Services.
