Benefits of becoming a coach:

Eligibility: 

  • Benefit-eligible ASU faculty and staff — three years or more recommended but not required
  • Track record of excellent work performance
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to embrace diverse perspectives 
  • A complete application that includes two recommendations: One from your supervisor and one from another ASU employee.

     

Next steps

  1. Submit your completed application by the deadline.
  2. Complete 30 hours of required training over four months, which includes self-study, in-person sessions, peer practice time and one-on-one meetings with master coaches.
  3. Once qualified, get matched and begin coaching one ASU employee outside your unit for six one-hour sessions within six months.
  4. Continue learning and connecting at SUNlite Coach Community events as your schedule allows.
