Workday training for employees with HR security roles

Arizona State University human resources employees must complete Workday instructor-led training and related prerequisite courses based on their position and security roles. ILT courses ensure employees can perform necessary tasks when Workday launches Dec. 23, 2024.

Regardless of what HR-related security roles you have, you must complete introductory Workday training courses and enroll in and complete the following ILT courses that run Oct. 21 to Dec. 13:  

• Adding additional jobs.

• Compensation.

• Hire and onboarding.
• Manage positions.

• Manage job requisitions. 

How to register

Please follow these steps to register for ILT courses:

1. Search Workday HCM Training on the Career EDGE webpage.
2. Select the Workday HCM Training curriculum. 
3. Register for ILT training sessions. 
    

Introductory Workday training  

Before attending ILT courses, employees with HR-related security roles must take several web-based Workday training courses. These will provide foundational Workday knowledge for the specialized training.  

The foundational Workday training courses will be available by Oct. 14. The Workday project team will email employees when the training courses are ready. Employees should complete the courses before their ILT sessions.  

Completing necessary training is vital to a successful Workday implementation.
