Shipping and receiving

Arizona State University’s Receiving, Shipping and Distribution Services, warehouse serves two primary functions:

  • Is the central point for receiving and delivering large freight and campus office supplies through Staples.

  • Provides shipping services for ASU departments’ out-bound ground and freight shipments.

UPS, FedEx and many other small package carriers will deliver parcels directly to your location on campus. It is imperative that you provide a clear shipping address when ordering from your suppliers. Be sure to let them know the following:

  • Your Name.

  • Your Department Name and Mail Code.

  • Arizona State University.

  • Your Street Address, Room or Suite Number (very important).

  • City, State  ZIP.

If you are uncertain how your package will be delivered, you should also include your department mail code in the address to expedite delivery of your parcel through the United States Postal Service.

Expedited shipping FedEx

Federal Express (FedEx) serves as the university’s shipping vendor for all overnight, two-day and three-day shipping. You may use your department’s FedEx account number for any university-related expedited shipment. FedEx will be happy to come directly to your department to pick up your outgoing items on your account number.

If you would like to verify that your FedEx account is set-up under ASU’s discounted pricing or to create a new account, please contact FedEx Government Account Services at 800-645-9424.
