The University Club is a beautiful location for your wedding and reception, graduation party or retirement reception. Surrounded by lush, green grounds, historical buildings and a beautiful fountain off Old Main, the University Club is an ideal location not only for guests, but also photographs as well as lasting memories.
Need to get out of the normal routine or need a fresh environment? The University Club can host your corporate meeting or conference as well.
The University Club has a variety of room options to accommodate a guest list that is large or small with two floors. On the first floor is the Bistro/patio and the Club Room as well as three rooms available upstairs the Heritage, Traditions and Thoren rooms.
Room Details
Bistro/Patio: The Bistro is the club's restaurant where lunch is served Mon-Fri. There is also a patio connected to the Bistro.
Club Room: The Club Room is the lounge, which members and guests may use at their leisure. It is equipped with a television and comfortable seating.
Heritage Room: The Heritage Room is our largest room and can hold up to 88 guests at rounds or 125 guests theatre style. The Heritage Room is separated by a foyer from the Traditions and Thoren rooms.
Traditions Room: The Traditions Room is our second largest and can hold up to 44 guests at rounds or 75 guests theatre style. The Traditions Room has double pocket doors to allow the room to open into the Thoren Room and allow for an additional 30 guests sitting at round tables.
Thoren Room: The Thoren Room is our smallest room and can hold up to 30 guests at rounds or theatre style. This room has double pocket doors to allow the room to open into the Traditions Room and hold an additional 44 guests at round tables.
If the above rooms are not large enough for your event Old Main has the Carson Ballroom and should be able to house a few hundred guest. To reserve the room at Old Main you will need to contact Robin Hawkins at 480.965.4631. The University Club is a preferred caterer of Old Main.
Pricing/Rental Fees
For an ASU event it is $450 for the entire club, $250 for one floor of the club and $125 for one room. For non-ASU events it is $750 for the entire club, $450 for one floor of the club and $250 for one room. If a member of the University Club attends our event then the facility room rental fee is waived. The facility rental fee is just to use the facility.
We also have a podium with a microphone and a pull down screen in the Heritage and Traditions rooms upstairs. A screen can be brought into the Thoren room. To rent any of this equipment there is a rental fee of $25 (there is no AV charge for Uclub members).
Parking
The University Club parking lot can accommodate up to 50 cars. If extra parking is needed, the Fulton Center will accommodate at the normal parking rates.
