Revenue Codes

Transactions within each agency/org are coded to revenue/sub-revenue source codes. The revenue codes classify revenues by source (e.g. merchandise sales, private gifts, transfers-in). The following is a list of the most commonly used revenue/sub-revenue codes. Please refer to the Advantage table, SREV for a complete list of available codes.

General Fund Appropriation

This refers to federal funding from the American Recovery and Reinstatement Act.

Registration and tuition are the fees charged to students for attending classes at the university. Qualified tuition reductions are primarily a form of financial aid awarded to students, covering the registration and/or tuition portion of fees established by the Arizona Board of Regents. The reduction is based on merit and/or need as established by the university. Reductions are also granted to university employees and their spouses and dependents as a benefit of employment.

Certain graduate and undergraduate colleges and programs assess additional differential tuition and program tuition, which differs according to college and/or program. Program/differential qualified tuition reductions are primarily a form of financial aid awarded to students covering the program tuition fees established by the Arizona Board of Regents. The reduction is based on merit and/or need as established by the university.
