Employees asked to disregard Workday email sent in error

On Saturday, Dec. 7, certain ASU employees received an email from Workday indicating their home contact information was updated.

 

Please disregard that email. Your home contact information remains the same and has not changed. No action is needed.  

 

The email was mistakenly generated during the development of ASU’s new HR and payroll system, Workday HCM. User notifications were thought to be disabled during a routine data upload. After learning notifications were mistakenly turned on, the project team immediately addressed the issue to minimize the number of employees who would be affected.

 

The project team apologizes for the error and inconvenience. Please email the team with questions.
