U.S. Passport Acceptance Office

What is the Arizona State University U.S. Passport Acceptance Office?

The U.S. Passport Acceptance Office at ASU is an official passport application acceptance facility that provides services to the ASU community of students and employees, as well as to the greater Phoenix area.

We accept completed passport applications and forward them to the U.S. Department of State, Passport Services section for an issuance determination. Passport photo services are also available in the office.

Please note: The ASU U.S. Passport Acceptance Office cannot make the determination for issuance of a passport.

Who approves my passport application?

The U.S. Department of State, Passport Services office is responsible for making the final decision to issue or deny a U.S. passport, based on each individual application.

Beginning August 11, 2014, the U.S. Passport Acceptance Office will be in its new location in Tempe University Center.
