Campus transportation 

ASU policy PDP 207-01: Tempe Campus Transportation Code details the rules governing the use of transportation devices on campus. Visit ASU Parking and Transit Services for more information. 

Clearance letter 

To obtain a clearance letter, individuals must visit the Tempe campus PD station during business hours. A valid form of identification and payment is required. Clearance letters cannot be requested electronically.

Crime prevention

There are several ways to protect your computer, which include locks, cables and engravings. ASU PD offers a theft deterrent program through the Crime Prevention Unit. Visit the Crime Prevention webpage for more information.

Events

The Arizona Board of Regents authorizes the president to permit alcoholic beverages at designated areas of the university when football games are played. Unless otherwise designated by the president, the consumption of alcoholic beverages at authorized tailgate parties is limited to beer and wine but does not include spirituous liquor or other alcoholic beverages. Alcoholic beverages may be consumed for three and one-half hours before each football game and cease at kick-off. 

Approved locations for tailgating are:

  • Apache Boulevard Parking Structure. 
  • Lots 3, 8, 27, 44, 49, 58, 59. 
  • Myrtle Avenue Parking Structure.
  • Packard Drive South Parking Structure. 
  • Stadium Parking Structure. 
  • Tyler Street Parking Structure. 
  • University Towers Parking Structure. 

No personal food or drink can be brought into the stadium with the exception of purchased, sealed, unfrozen water bottles.
