THE BASICS

Will OHR service be disrupted during the move to the new location?
Yes. Some areas at  the University Services Building (USB) at 1551 S. Rural Rd. might lose access to phone and email beginning around 1pm on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013. The Employee Service Center (ESC) will close at 1:30pm on Friday, Nov. 15, 2013. Phone, email and online ticketing access will be available, but employees may experience some unavoidable delays in response.
IMPORTANT:
To avoid complications, complete your online Benefits Open Enrollment elections as early as possiblebefore the OHR moving date.

Which OHR units will move to UCNTRA?
The following OHR units will relocate to the new Tempe University Center (UCNTRA) location:

  • Associate VP and Chief Human Resources Officer and Administrative Support
  • Human Resources Employee Service Center
  • Client Services (Partners)—except those located at West, Downtown Phoenix and Polytechnic
  • Benefits Design & Management
  • Office of Equity & Inclusion
  • Recruitment & Selection
  • Leadership & Workforce Development & HR Communications
  • Analytics & Decision Support
  • Compensation

Which OHR services will not move?
The Employee Assistance Office and related wellness programs will remain in their current location in Tempe: University Towers, Suite 101 (map).

Where should I go to get assistance with a payroll issue?
Many general payroll issues can be resolved by OHR Specialists without the need for an in-person visit.

Visit Ask HR to create an online ticket, get the Employee Service Center phone number or create a ticket via email. If specialized payroll assistance is necessary, the ticket or call will be escalated to the appropriate person or unit for you.

Business Operations Managers (BOMs) and department payroll representatives should continue to use their current contact methods.

Where do I park at the new location and do I have to pay?
Visitors can park in any numbered space in Lot 55 (in front of University Center A).  Parking costs $1/hour or $8 for the day. You pay for parking at the machine near the entrance to OHR.

What contact information has changed for OHR?
Three things have changed: The physical address, the mailing address and the mail code (MC). All contact phone and fax numbers will remain the same.
