Sustainability at ASU Library
To celebrate Earth Month, ASU Library is featuring two curated collections to educate the ASU community about sustainability and to bring awareness to the human impact on our natural environment.
Visit the second floor of Hayden Library on the Tempe campus for the “Every Day is Earth Day” book collection, some hand-picked by ASU students, faculty and staff.
The 79 books discuss climate change, plant-forward eating, sustainable economics and more. Some of the authors are ASU faculty working in the sustainability field.
Sun Devils can also browse the “Planting the Seeds of Sustainability” collection at the Polytechnic campus Library. University Sustainability Practices staff and student workers helped compile 85 books on southwest gardening and sustainable practices.
Want some inspiration? Visit the Garden Commons on the Polytechnic campus to get an up-close view of how desert gardens can thrive.
