ASU Procurement earns annual NAEP awards

Arizona State University’s Procurement department and several employees earned 2021 National Association of Educational Procurement awards. The annual NAEP awards recognize excellence in higher education procurement services.

“The ASU Procurement team’s sustainable and innovative practices play a vital role in helping the university fulfill its mission,” said Morgan R. Olsen, ASU executive vice president, treasurer and chief financial officer. “I congratulate them for their NAEP awards and am immensely proud of their contributions to ASU.”

In addition to honoring ASU Procurement with the PULSE Award for Innovation in Higher Education Procurement, NAEP recognized several individuals:

  • Nichol Luoma, university business services vice president, university sustainability operations officer and chief procurement officer, won the Neil D. Markee Communicator of the Year Award.
  • Jamon Hill, supply chain executive director and deputy chief procurement officer, won the Brian Yeoman Sustainable Procurement Award.
  • Allyson Taylor, interim supervisor, won the Young Professional in Procurement Award.
